  • iPad 3 - DJ Table
In 2011 I started a personal project to upgrade myself with new design techniques. I really liked the design I’d made..so I spread the news around through social networks like Dribbble. Last month a company in New York, which develops music apps for iOS, contacted me to pitch for an iPad3 redesign project of their existing DJ mixing app.

  • iPad DJ Mixer
This is a personal update…Took over from my first design of the iPad DJ table I present my second part: the iPad DJ Mixer v0.1. The DJ Mixer and DJ Table should be working together in one audio app (see image below) just by tapping on the top bar the display changes to: the left Table | the Mixer | the right Table.

  • iPad DJ table (v0.1)
In the 90s i used to make music on my AMD 133Mhz computer. The coolest thing was that some music programs had very slick designed interfaces and well programmed interaction (Rubberduck, ModPlug, Fruity Loops or Rebirth (Propellerheads).

These days we have the iPad and other cool touch devices which allready have very nice music programs like: Dj Mixer Pro (check out Carl Cox) or Rebirth. I think the next couple of years music programs on the touch devices will be getting bigger and every (music) brand have there own digital music application...booming business i think.

So... I wanted to start my own personal music project.. At first i was curious to find out if i could design DJ table for the iPad / tablet in high-resolution.Yes, i know.. this is just a concept design and many functions are incorrect and fake. No tears please.. Next round v0.2 there will be more logical functions and interaction. I suggest to stay in touch if you want to find out more.

  • Flying Blue account update
Also Flying Blue (part of KLM and Air France) wants to use the possibilities of the worldwide web, so especially for them I developed a form where existing analog accounts automatically transform in digital accounts. The new accounts are used for better and faster communication online.

In an airy environment, somewhere up in the clouds hangs a form, which has to be filled up with a personal Flying Blue number. After a member is ready with the form the whole screen turns around and the passenger finds himself in a real ‘departures-zone’ at the Airport, where the stewardess gives instructions.
